Hand made paper 2021

I have always found self-made paper a meditative process.
It has a connection with past generations in my family and my future. The ability to simplify the work processes and at the same time keep the handicraft complex, unique and personal. I prepare the materials with which I paint like the great masters 500 years ago. Prepares paints, painting with pure pigments and gold leaf. The printing and embedding of color with heat, water, and dyeing changes the paper itself. The limits of the substrate's containment become infinite, the paper remembers many layers of color and material, personal history and thoughts about mystical secrets. It is the essence of alchemy that turns the simplest into precious gold through mental transformation.
